Can I re-roof an older commercial building with metal?

Metal roofing is used on many older commercial buildings as a replacement.  Whether it works depends on the structure underneath, so a site look is wise.  Ask us about trim and materials too.[2]

A city made for the steel industry

Fairfield was established in 1910 as a planned company town by the Tennessee Coal, Iron and Railroad Company.  It was first named Corey for a U.S. Steel Corporation president, then renamed, and it incorporated on January 1, 1919.[2]

U.S. Steel's Fairfield Works remains a major employer, and Interstate 20/59 and three railroads pass through town.  Properties near rail and interstate routes often need warehouses, shops and service buildings, which is where steel framing is often a practical choice.[2]
