General information.  Every project is different, so call us about yours.

I live between Good Hope and Cullman.  What kind of shop building fits a residential lot?

A steel shop or garage can be designed around your lot and your use, from a single bay to a larger workspace.  The right size depends on your project and any limits on your parcel.  Ask the town or county office about setbacks before you plan.[2]

Can a commuter family build a barndominium near the interstate?

Many families like a barndominium for open floor plans and low upkeep.  RBC can build turnkey, from skeleton through insulated, wired and plumbed.  Land and local approvals vary, so check your parcel first.[2]

How do I pick colors for a metal roof?

The color visualizer lets you try roof and siding colors on a sample building before you decide.  It is a good way to see how a color looks with your brick or trim.[2]

Is there a place to see material prices?

RBC keeps price lists for items such as steel trusses, lumber, doors and insulation.  Prices are subject to change, so confirm when you call.[2]

A city between two metro areas

Good Hope incorporated in April 1962 and counted 2,483 residents in 2020.  The city covers about 7.9 square miles near the center of Cullman County, and Interstate 65 passes through at Exit 304.[2]

Birmingham is about 45 miles south and Huntsville about 57 miles north by way of Interstate 565, so many households here have jobs or errands in other cities.  That often means a property needs a shop, garage or storage building for tools and equipment.  If you are planning one, a steel building can be sized to the lot.[2]
